One had one person working the front seating customers, we had a party of 12 here from Alabama celebrating our Marine graduation the lady made a Huge deal about IT REALLY BEING 12 PEOPLE!! Excellent meal. This is seafood done right. The breading is perfect, and the calamari was the best I have ever tasted. The large frog more platter is perfect for two on a date. Very impressed.

I had the seafood lasagna and my daughter had the steak. Both were wonderful but the absolute best part of our visit was the server Jasmine. She very knowledgeable about her trade. Fast efficient service and great attitude! Thank you Jasmine for making a long day end so nicely.

The reviews for this place are all over the place... Went for lunch. Polite and friendly host was also my waiter. The seafood chowder was thick, and a touch on salty side, but brimming with crab and fish bits and shrimp with a bit of a spicy kick. Baked oysters were loaded with cheese and bacon - enough topping leftover to hook up a baked potato for sure! This is like going to a neighbors house, the food is satisfying and down home. If that's what you are in the mood for, there should be no complaints!

A bit ran down, but nice casual place to dine with two bars one on the restraunt and one detached as a bar environment. Nice crowds and good seafood. Cool decor inside for the nautical folks.

Food was delicious here. Seafood lasagna was amazing. Shrimp and grits were great. The burger was very flavorful.

The food and service was fantastic. Kathy, our bartender/server was friendly, attentive and helpful. The shrimp and scallops were amazing and the seafood bisque was awesome. We'll definitely be back!

The people were so friendly, and helpful! The food, oh, my, the food. Everything was delicious, the portions were huge, and I couldn't have asked for a better meal!

Not even close to worth the price. The oysters are advertised as local, but they were definitely NOT fresh. Appetizer came out at end of service. I think the waitress misunderstood that we wanted the wings to go. Gumbo and salad was excellent. Key lime pie was the only desert option. It was average.

Went for a quick lunch and were very pleased. Fast and friendly service. Fried oysters were top notch. Shrimp and grits was great.

Wonderful staff on top of great food.

The food was actually VERY good. I got the baked flounder platter with cole slaw and Mac n cheese. The main problem was the service. It took several minutes to even get drinks and it wasn’t even busy in the restaurant. It was very slow and while polite, not very friendly.

It's been a couple years since we ate here so things may have changed. But I see some bad reviews about the choices I picked here. I really enjoyed the shrimp and grits even though the sauce was a bit salty. Also the oasters were super. I definitely intend to return when back in town!

Food was good as always ,beast place on island to eat .we have been coming here for many years never had a bad meal.Only had 2 people working the bar tender was helping the only server,they were doing great food was good as always,But the owner of this place an I hope your reading this review when your short staffed you need to be there helping what staff you have that's why you are having such a turnover in staff every time I come new people .Working

Absolutely awesome spot... We got there late almost 40 mins till closing and we were excellently taken care of, great service... We got 4 different meals and all of them were great tasting! I want to honestly thank y'all for best experience at a restaurant in a very long time.

The food was good, The WAITRESS, had an attitude,was rude , unprofessional, we were a party of 7 so her tip was added in our bill,we won't be coming back... while waiting for our food an older couple waited approximately 10 minutes be seated ,after the same waitress spoke to them they left,

We’ve been going here for years and at one time was one of my favorite places anywhere. Went back this weekend for the first time in a couple years and something has changed majorly. We were one of two tables seated in the whole place so we should have known something was up. Waitress was very rude and seemed bothered that we were there. The menu has shrunk to just the basics and when I mentioned it she seemed offended that I would even bring it up. Food was adequate but nothing special and slow getting to the table. In a coastal area, better seafood and much better service can be found almost anywhere else. Save your money and go elsewhere.

Locals place. Casual atmosphere but the seafood is 5 star and prepared properly.

Been here a half dozen times back 20-25 years ago b4 these rating apps lol. This time made a detour off I 95 just for this place. Times change and the atmosphere seemed a little off, (but this was our first time here for lunch though) but the food was still outstanding, AAA.

Wait staff had some major issues. One seemed to be bullying the others and taking their tables. Not cool. Food could have used more seasonings as well. Shouldn't have to add salt on my food when it goes to my table to try to get it to taste better. Worst experience I've had in this town.

I've been there a few times!! Its a hit and miss with the food. The last 2 times were amazing, but the one before they were out of a few things. The staff is very nice. Overall you should give this restaurant a shot!

Came here for lunch and had the blackened shrimp Alfredo with spinach. It was so delicious. Will return soon!

My husband and I have been coming to steamers since we moved here a few years ago. We even left it a good review however that has to change. The waitress was good the problem was the food. Someone previously posted golden corral style food with five star prices, they're not wrong. So disappointed ☹️ The wings were over cooked, my shrimp and grits has no flavor, not even sure the bacon is real. My husband had the special, blackened shrimp Alfredo. The shrimp wasn't blackened and the sauce was orange, it was also over seasoned and he likes spicy. I don't think we'll be returning.

The food was good. But other ppl left without being waited on. If you have more than 7ppl u shud make a reservation.

I thought the food and service was excellent. Shrimp and scallops blackened were excellent. Kathy at the bar was extremely attentive. We enjoyed our dinner. Take a bow you hit the mark!

Used to be great. Those days are gone. Waitress had to be dragged over for refills; after an hour FINALLY brought out food for the other three in my party, but my plate had mysteriously gone to another table. Fifteen minutes and they'd have me a plate. No apology, nothing. I've scraped gum off my shoe that had more initiative than this waitress. I left. They weren't even busy so they can't blame it on that. Everyone else in my party reported a lousy meal and tiny portions. This place really isn't a locals favorite, that was another era. If you're a drinker, it's probably a good place for that. But if you want tasty, fresh local seafood this is not the place.

Yuck. Wilted salad. Shoe leather steak. Just terrible. No business calling themselves a steakhouse. Husband said his oysters just tasted like the batter they were dipped and fried in.

Food was wonderful. Sarah, our waitress was even better!

Went for the oysters but they were out. Ended up having fried clams and they were good. Good little local joint to hang out for some seafood.

Best seafood I've ever had is from here! Great little find as I was passing through. Their calamari and crab cakes are to die for! I also had a fish and shrimp with a white cream sauce that was amazing!

If I could give it 0 stars I would!!!!!!!!!This place is terrible, bad service and even lower quality "food." Ordered a pound of shrimp and got 1/4 lbs of chewy overcooked (seemed like it was microwaved) shrimp. Then we got a "side salad that I can't even begin to describe... the "bacon dressing" is hot (temperature) ranch with bacon bits. Our server has YET to come see how we are doing.I got a steak (sirloin) MEDIUM RARE... what is this?Also the Texas toast I got is the same one you get from WALMART!!! WHAT IS THIS? Please tell me how this is a Medium Rare Sirloin????

We were visiting town for a Marine Graduation at Parris Island. We walked in and looked at each other to decide if we should stay. We made the wrong choice and got seated. The waitress/hostess was rude and not friendly AT ALL! Ordered a dozen overpriced oysters on the half shell. Immediately realized our mistake. They were barely recognizable as oysters(super small and dry) . You could tell they had been shucked hours ago and had been sitting in,hopefully, a refrigerator. We finished our drinks, got the check and got the hell out of there. Don’t waste your time or money!
